Introduction:
Artisanal is the word we use to describe the Brut Nature and ultra-low dosage Champagnes from Charles Dufour. Despite his young age (born in mid-1980s), Charles Dufour has already been crafting out some of the most unique and thought-provoking wines in the region. With organic and biodynamic viticulture, and great winemaking skills (all wines are unfined and unfiltered), Dufour's champagnes are voluptuous, structural, and flavoursome; all of these are characteristics which veteran Champagne drinkers do not associate with Brut Nature Champagnes. 80% from 2020, 20% from perpetual reserve.
Description:
Nose: Fresh grassy spring like nose, lots of red currants and yellow apples.
Taste: It is a full and ripe wine but with crisp orchard fruit acidity.
