「勝山緣特別純米」由「勝山酒造株式会社」出品，使用了「袋吊法」造成的特別純米酒，「袋吊法」平常只會出現在級別較高的大吟釀品項上使用，也是非常稀少品項。「袋吊法」是指將釀製好的酒醪，放在棉布袋裡，只用自身的重量蒐集滴落下來的酒液，是傳統日本酒裡面最精華的技術。從2005年起，勝山酒造株式会社經過大幅度轉型及改革，亦引進遠心分離技術，以及將全數推出作品改成純米系列，再次得到清酒界的廣泛關注。勝山酒造株式会社追求「現代化」的同時，亦從西方「葡萄酒」的文化中學習並持續改進。依照葡萄酒的分類方式，製作各種「食中酒」的高品質酒類，提昇廣大清酒愛好者的味覺體驗。
