Domaine Ménard-Gaborit has been established in the Sèvre et Maine appellation near Nantes since 1734. A passion for wine has been passed down from generation to generation, today, the estate is managed by brothers Philippe and Thierry Ménard, the 5th generation.

François, son of Philippe, joined the estate in 2019 after several experiences in France and abroad. As a winemaker, he is keen to continue the family history by highlighting the potential of Muscadet wines and the Melon de Bourgogne grape. The vineyard is located in the western part of the Loire Valley close to the Atlantic Ocean, shares the same latitude as Champagne, Burgundy or Alsace. Its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and its different soils give these wines a particular typicity, allowing the winery to produce fresh, iodized white wines, anchored in their terroirs by their great minerality.
