Winemaking:

Age of vine: 50 year vine

Soil: Limestone soils

Fermentation: Undergoes 14-21 day fermentation and maceration in concrete tanks.

Aging: Aged 12 months in used French oak barrels.


Description:

Colour: Medium garnet red.
Nose: Expressive black and red fruits like cassis and cherries with floral notes of violets and forest floor.
Taste: Medium-bodied with velvety tannins and fresh acidity. Flavors of blackberry, plum, tobacco leaf and spices.  Finish with lingering dark fruit and herbal notes with a touch of cocoa.
