Description

Information:

Malvasia is an ancient family of grapes that includes a diverse collection of noble varieties. These grapes are capable of producing wine of any feasible color in dry, sparkling and sweet styles. Believed to be of Greek origin, the Malvasia family has been commercially important to the Mediterranean for more than 2000 years.


Wine making:

The whole grapes undergo a soft pressing immediately after harvesting. 

About 30% of the must ferments in 7-hectoliter tonneaux which are blended the following spring with the rest fermented in tanks.


Description:

Colour: Very bright lemon yellow color and excellent fluidity. 

Nose and Taste: Very elegant, broad, delicate floral fragrance with a very pleasant spicy finish.  Sapid taste with good persistence, it evolves positively for several years.
