The La Scolca winery has decided to pay homage to the famous General of the Savoy Kingdom Valentino Sartore, who lived for a few years in their lands, with this wine.
Gavi DOCG Valentino is a white wine produced from 100% Cortese grapes which is expressed in the glass with a light straw yellow color. The scent is typical, fine, pleasantly fresh and refined. The taste is delicate, dry, well formed, full-bodied, persistent.
The Cantina La Scolca is the cradle of Gavi , which is the best known white wine of Piedmont .
The quality and commitment that have been handed down for five generations is constantly evolving and has no intention of stopping: their motto, in fact, is to always look to a better future.
Perfect for any type of dish, in fact, it is a white wine to be enjoyed throughout the meal: whether they are light appetizers or more structured dishes, the Gavi DOCG Valentino will go down more than willingly.

Winemaking:
The grapes used are 100% pure Cortese directly from the Gavi hill. The vinification technique is traditional with temperature control in stainless steel tanks.
We are located in the territory of Gavi, near Novi Ligure, in the province of Alessandria.
