Description

The Henriot Rosé Millésime Brut 2012 is an exceptional vintage that showcases high quality despite numerous frosts and low yields. This vintage rosé embodies the sought-after style of the Henriot Champagne House, offering an optimal balance of lively acidity and beautifully ripe fruit. Generous aromas of red fruits reflect the perfect maturity of the Pinot Noir grapes, harmoniously blending with the elegance and finesse of the Chardonnay. Crafted exclusively from Premiers and Grands Crus, the blend consists of 55% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and 45% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, with a dosage of less than 8g/l. Aged for five years in the cellars of the Henriot Champagne House, this cuvée promises remarkable aging potential and an exquisite tasting experience.

Founded in 1808 by Apolline Henriot, Champagne Henriot is one of these rare, independent Champagne houses that has been owned by a steady line of the same family since the beginning. The Henriot style is known for wines that strikingly combine refined elegance and freshness with aromatic complexity, with Chardonnay always in the limelight.

One of the keys to Henriot's consistency is the quality of their Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyard supplies in particular from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, which form the core of their aromatic, balanced and long-lived Champagnes.

Tasting notes:
Color: The color has bright coral hues. The effervescence is delicate and the foam very fine.
Nose: The nose is delicious with fresh fruity and mineral notes.
Palate: The perfect ripeness of the berries is reflected through a generous and structured palate. A beautiful freshness is combined with delicious aromas of wild strawberry, the gariguette cultivar and developed notes of orange on the finish. As it evolves, this vintage rosé will reveal more toasty notes while retaining a beautiful minerality, the signature of the Henriot style.
