Domaine Henri et Gilles Remoriquet is a family-owned winery in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, France. Established over four generations, the Remoriquet family has been tending vines since the 17th century, initially for the monks of the Cîteaux Abbey. The domaine, now spanning approximately 10 hectares, was formalized by Henri Remoriquet and is currently led by his son, Gilles Remoriquet, an oenologist trained at the University of Dijon, who took over in the 1980s. Gilles has modernized operations while preserving a traditional Burgundian ethos, earning a reputation for high-quality, value-driven Pinot Noir wines. The winery is certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and Terra Vitis, reflecting a commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Description:

Nose: Concentrated and mature, with a nose of cherry confit, wild berries (cassis, blackberry), and subtle spice (cinnamon, clove).

Taste: Medium-bodied with a velvety, well-balanced texture and firm yet refined tannins. The palate offers dense cherry and cassis flavors, complemented by spicy notes (cinnamon, licorice) and a tender, caramel-au-lait finish.
