Description

Wine making:

Wine made from Pinot Noir grapes produced using organic farming methods.

Site: Les Bas-Doix Les Danguerrins, Les Argillières, Les Drazeys, Aux Croix, les Clos, Les Bussières, Les Cras.

This wine is aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, 20 to 30% of which are new barrels.

Made from different plots, all harvested at their optimum ripening and assembled after devatting, this wine is very complex thanks to its varied origins and the diversity of the soils, linked to the presence of the valley and the various scree and deposits resulting from it. The Bajocian limestones actually subside at the village level, thus increasing the differences between the plots. It has a strong character, with always a lot of minerality on the finish. Optimum after 4-5 years, some vintages need to wait longer.
