Description

Information:

In a unique site, let yourself be carried away by the History of France, come and discover the Cave de la Reine Jeanne! A magnificent building located in the heart of the capital of Jura wines and the first AOC in France: Arbois. This Gothic-style cellar, in which we raise our finest vintages, was built in 1322 by one of the daughters of the Dukes of Burgundy, Jeanne, who was Queen of France from 1316 to 1322.

Self-taught at 17, I began the real work of the vineyard and the cellar, for more than twenty years, as an employee in different wine estates in Arbois; which allowed me to acquire real knowledge, both on the terroir and on the vinification of the different grape varieties.

Today, we produce and select grapes from the most beautiful Jura terroirs in order to develop our own vintages. We hope that you will take as much pleasure in tasting them as we took in developing them!

Fruit of the plant and the work of Man, these grapes mainly come from the wine estate that we cultivate, in AOC Arbois and Côtes du Jura. Concerned about quality and with total respect for the products, our vintages are fermented only with indigenous yeasts, they are not fined, are very little filtered and vinified with a minimum of sulfur.
