Information:

Le Domaine Rolet, créé en 1942, par Désiré Rolet constitue l'un des fleurons du vignoble Jurassien. Ses 4 enfants : Pierre, Eliane, Guy et Bernard ont ensuite assuré la relève en se répartissant les rôles au sein du Domaine. En l'espace de 2 générations, la famille Rolet grâce à un travail acharné, s'est hissée parmi les références du vignoble. Ses vins déclinent toute la richesse du terroir au travers de la large palette des cépages locaux et de toutes ses appellations : Arbois, Côtes du Jura, L'Étoile, et Château-Chalon. En blanc, le Chardonnay et le Savagnin (cépage entre autre du prestigieux vin jaune). En rouge, le Poulsard, le Trousseau et le Pinot Noir.

Our Montesserin vineyard is located to the west of Arbois. It covers 10.93 hectares via different plots and surrounds a grove to extend to our winery. On its calcareous marl and clay-silt soils, we find all the Jura grape varieties. The top of the hill allows you to observe the formations of the substrate, in this case the Middle Jurassic limestone, strongly tectonized, crushed and offering varied slopes. The Montesserin grapes produce, among other things, our white and red Arbois ouillés vintages.

Wine making:

Manual harvest and sorting.
A late grape variety, it is harvested manually at the end of the harvest at its peak of maturity.
Aged under a veil for a minimum of 6 years and 3 months in oak barrels.
