From 100% declassified Marsannay fruit, this is elegant and nicely earthy and glides like silk across your palate before the fine tannins come up at the end. Decant now and enjoy through 2028 or so.

"The 2019 Bourgogne Rouge comes from vines in Marsannay even through Roty told me that he could legally label it as Marsannay Village. It has a detailed bouquet for its category, quite floral, offering incense and pressed iris flower. The palate is silky-smooth on the entry with hints of blueberry; stylish and showing a little more finesse than the 2018. Surprisingly finessed."
